Opening night on 21 January 2016, MU Theater / Budapest, HU
In Grace’s carefully crafted performance, we are confronted with abstract situations that, by overwriting norms and constraints, introduce us to a glittering and humorous but often dark ritual. The performance serves as an alibi for dancers to do everything for which we don’t always find enough freedom in life. Having deconstructed physicality in their previous pieces in Grace the company reaches the use of spoken word. And what is said has at least as much weight as the uninhibited movements.
